Samantha Booth was arrested at Wal-Mart after taking several clothing items to the self checkout area but failed to pay for $169.11 worth of items.
This brings up a good question. Why do we want to assume the liability of self checkout? Granted most anyone could do better than Samantha did today. But we should realize that one mistake in self checkout could lead to your arrest. And we don't even get the employee discount for doing the work. So I find myself asking would they believe me if I made a mistake? Why would it be worth it for me to assume that risk while at the same time assisting Wal-Mart in there effort to employ fewer people? I say no thanks to self checkout.
