Police arrived on scene and found a female (later identified as Rebecca Dugan) laying on the floor of her bedroom with her sister performing chest compressions. Paramedics arrived on scene and pronounced her deceased. On the floor behind the deceased were three medication bottles;
Topiramate 200mg, Norethindrome 5mg, and Hydroxzne 50mg. The Hydroxzne showed
it was filled on 08-13-2015 for a quantity of 90 and it was empty. The sister said Rebecca was suppose to go to court the upcoming Monday for some drug charges.
Police were called to 1518 North Vinita trailer #2 where they made contact with Terry Mouse who stated that he had left at approximately 0530 hours to go to dialysis and at approximately 1400 hours he received a call from a neighbor that two of his windows had been broken out. Mouse said that when he arrived home the living room and one bedroom window was broken out. He said when he went inside the bedroom he found a large rock on the floor. Nothing was missing from the trailer not even a Mouse.
On 08/22/2015 at approximately 1534 hours Police were dispatched to Twin Oaks Apartment 12-2 to investigate a possible domestic. When I arrived I made contact with Amber Hummingbird who stated that her and her boyfriend Joeroly Johnson had been fighting. Hummingbird said they were setting in his car fighting over him staying at the apartment. She said she was asking him for the key to the apartment back when he grab her left arm and bit her hand. Hummingbird said after he bit her he let her out of the vehicle and drove off.
at approximately 1641 hours Police were asked to go back to Twin Oaks apartments and investigate Johnson coming back over to the apartment to get his stuff. An officer told Johnson he was at his apartment investigating Domestic Violence case and ask him if he wanted to tell me his side of what happen. Johnson didn't said anything just looked up. Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to CCDC and booked into jail.
In most local domestic cases the vitom is the person who contacts a bondsman to bail out the accused.
On August 22, 2015, Police responded to a call at EZ Mart, at 22:40, on south Muskogee Avenue for the report of a beer run. An EZ Mart employee witnessed a male come into the store and take
two 6 packs of beer. She had seen the male walking around in the area earlier in the day, but that she did not recognize him as being a previous customer. She said that the male was wearing navy blue pants, a black shirt with a marijuana leaf on the front, and a gray snap-back hat. She said that the man took a 6 pack of Bud Light Lime bottles, and a 6 pack of Corona bottles out of the cooler and then ran out of the building and said, "what's up sucka" as he left. The store manager arrived a short time later and looked at the security footage of the event. Police were unable to locate the suspect at that time but have him on video.
Daniel Laporte is charged with his 4th DUI, his bond was set at $25000.00. On two other occasions Daniel was charged with leaving the scene of an accident which makes you wonder if he is grateful this isn't his 6th DUI in 6 years.
On this day Police made a traffic stop at or near the entrance of Taco Bell on Muskogee Ave.
