Police dispatched to Atwood's in reference to a stolen trailer. The store manager stated that the business had a Carry On 5x8 trailer with a mesh floor and mesh tailgate that was missing. After receiving an alarm call early Friday morning reviewed the surveillance video from morning and observed a newer Dodge 4 door truck that pulled into the parking lot at around 0515 A.M. The vehicle then dropped off a male subject by the South end of the store and drove Northbound through the parking lot. The male subject then walked to the location of the trailers. The subject was there for a few minutes before the truck then pulled across the parking lot and picked up the person. The truck pulled back onto Muskogee Avenue and traveled Northbound before Officers arrived on the alarm call. The store manager believes that the suspect could possibly be a previous employee that is aware of how the alarm cables work. He also found an uncut lock on the ground where the trailer was taken from which indicates that the suspect either had a key or picked the lock.
