Police were called to take a report of an alleged burglary of a residence located at 550 Dale Avenue. The victim stated that she arrived a the residence and saw boxes on top of her white car that is under a carport. She saw that the door of the residence was opened up and saw that one of the windows was open. The victim got out of her car and walked to the front door and looked in and saw that someone had been in the residence. She said that someone had been the residence again after she had reported the residence being broke into. She walked through the residence and saw that a window was open and the back sliding glass door was open. She stated that she shut the sliding glass door. She then walked back through the house and saw a back window opened up. She then went outside and and saw that the screens of the window were on the ground. She then walked outside she saw the stuff on her car again and heard someone in the wooded area nearby. The victim stated that she was then hit in the head with something and said that the blow knocked her out. She woke up on the ground. She stated that she saw a path in the back of the residence here someone had been walking back and forth. She then left the area and came to the Police Station and filed a report. An officer followed her back to the scene so that she could retrieve other things from the residence unharmed. The officer looked at the path and did not see any signs of traffic.
Police responded to assault and battery report at 1920 White Ave. The victim had scrapes with blood on his left elbow and rib injuries. The victim had stated his roommate that he raised as a son had hit him with fists and kicked him while on the ground approx one hour prior. The victim and suspect had gotten into a verbal argument over the suspect use of meth prior to the assault and battery inside the residence. The suspect had hit and kicked the victim in the kitchen approx. 0730 am. The suspect had went outside to his car and the victim attempt to talk to the suspect outside. The suspect had become more violent by throwing the victim down on the carport concrete, kicking and stomping on the victim. The suspect had pulled the victim across the carport concrete prior to leaving in his car. The victim has signed a citizen complaint for assault and battery on the suspect through district court. A report was put on file
and sent to district attorney for warrant. The victim has stated the suspect need help on his drug use problems.
Elmo's reported and turned in a wallet found in the women's bathroom of the restaurant. Police contacted Sarah Waldrip (wallet owner) who said it was stolen and she had not been to Tahlequah in the past year and has never been to Elmos. She said she live in Ark. and it would be a few weeks before she could come pick the wallet up.
Taco Bell received a fake $20 bill in exchange for some fake food.
A counseling center at 711 Muskogee Ave reported an intoxicated person. Police removed the person in question and gave him a ride to jail.
