During a traffic stop the officer recognised passenger Richard Russell from the last time he was arrested. The last time drugs were found in the headliner of a vehicle. This time the same officer was a little less challenged as drugs were found in the headliner of the vehicle. Since none of the occupants claimed the drugs all three were arrested.
When stopped at a driver license checkpoint, Nicholas Renfro showed signs similar to tweeking. Exaggerated reflexes, rigid muscle tone, body tremors, interrupting conversation, unable to follow directions, fresh puncture marks on his arms. Renfro told the officer not to look in his backpack. The officer looked in the backpack and found multiple baggies of white substance, syringes, a variety of paraphernalia and a 67 counterfeit twenty dollar bills. Some of the bills were printed only on one side, some on both sides.
